Roles and responsibilities

Matthew is a well respected and experienced IT professional who works collaboratively with clients to ensure their strategic business goals are achieved through integration of innovative enterprise-sustainable IT systems solutions.

With an expansive practical knowledge of the full systems development lifecycle, and project management and architectural design in particular, Matthew supports client business applications in data warehousing, business intelligence, B2B integration, data migration and application development.

He is PRINCE2 certified, with wide-ranging experience in a number of different industries in both the private and public sectors.

Matthew has a national lead role in developing and maintaining Oakton’s IM methodology and training program.

Previous experience

Before joining Oakton, Matthew worked as a consultant with GE Capital IT Solutions where he performed business analyst and development roles for several large application development and data migration projects. He has also worked as a developer and engineer for a medical systems software vendor.
