Solution Architect (Portal)
As an experienced architect you will work with external vendors and business partners while providing technical leadership to the team.
The Portal Architect / Solution Architect is responsible for:
- Proposal preparation including solution architecture and approach
- Definition of solution options and impacts for inclusion in business cases
- Detailed Solution Architecture documentation
- Workshop facilitation and requirements gathering
- Presentation of capabilities to prospective clients
- Solution governance across multiple projects/clients
- Management of product vendor SME’s across projects
- Technical Design of Portal components
To be considered the key skill required are:
- Extensive delivery experience with the Oracle WLP platform (additional of WebSphere Portal is an advantage)
- Advanced level skills in the design and specification of commercial software
- In depth knowledge of Iterative and Agile SDLC methodologies
- Solution and Technical Architecture
- Skills in time and resource management, together with an ability to understand and deliver to the essential needs of users
- Identification and management of commercial risks on large scale projects
