Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the production of Business Intelligent solutions using the suite of SAP BusinessObjects tools.

 

Responsibilities:

• SAP BusinessObjects Information Discovery & Delivery solutions using Business Objects’ Semantic Layer, Text Analytics, Web Intelligence, Desktop Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Dashboards (Dashboard Manager / Xcelsius) and SAP BusinessObjects Explorer.

• SAP BusinessObjects Data Services solutions using SAP BusinessObjects Data Integrator, Rapid Marts, Data Quality, Data Profiling, Data Audit, Structured and Unstructured Data, SAP and non-SAP Data Sources, SAP ETL techniques.

• SAP BusinessObjects Migrations

• End-to-end SAP BW/BI and SAP BusinessObjects solutions including SAP ERP Data Extractors, BusinessObjects Integration Kit for SAP, SAP BW/BI OLAP Universes

• Client support and consultation on current SAP BusinessObjects implementations.

Requirements:

• Commercial experience in the implementation of SAP BusinessObjects (Any Version)

 Technical Skills:

• Experience implementing SAP BusinessObjects solutions is required.

• Knowledge and experience in Data Warehousing is an advantage.

• Strong SQL database skills are required.

• Data modelling skills are an advantage.

• Microsoft Office 2007 and SharePoint knowledge is an advantage.

• Experience with other BI tools is an advantage

 Consulting Skills:

• Ability to work with users to define and document business requirements

. • Commitment to quality & standards required.

• Ability to work in and/or lead a team.

• Excellent communication skills required.

• Time management and job prioritisation is an advantage.

Qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications.

• Ideally for senior role this person would have minimum 3 years consulting experience.

• SAP BW and/or SAP BusinessObjects Qualification is an advantage.
