Java, J2EE Support Developer (Portal Development)

The Java, J2EE Support Developer will be part of the Managed Services team which provides Oakton’s clients a range of services from the management of technology platforms to the provision of DBA capabilities, through to the full ownership of the business logic supporting production systems.

The primary focus of the role will involve support and development on a range of Java and Portal applications.

To be considered candidates will have:

• Experience in application support (Java based applications)
• Portlet / Portal development & support (WebSphere / WebLogic)
• Good communication skills 

Experience with the following is highly regarded:

• Experience in other programming languages including .Net
• Experience in Oracle Fusion
• Experience in Oracle / SQL Server (database application development)
• PeopleSoft experience
